Blast from the past!

Good Morning Everyone!

Today I thought it would be fun to go on a little adventure into the past :) We'll look at some of my photos from my first three years of college {2005-08}. Just to put some perspective on this, I bought my first camera, a Canon Rebel XT, in 2005. Way back then with all its trappings it cost me $1300. That's quite a bit for a 18 year old you know! Of course when I pull it out and shoot with it now I just get really frustrated  because the images aren't even close to as nice as the ones you can get with a newer camera and a nicer lens. In fact, most of the time my little point and shoot that Greg got for me a few months ago takes better photos than my SLR does! So irritating.

Feel free to judge me harshly, I'm not going to be offended. They were pretty much all experiments and assignments for classes. Here you go:

There you go! Sorry if they are offensively amateur... Hehehehe... {I like to think I've gotten a bit better since then} One day I'll get a new camera with a nice lens.

Have a great Thursday everyone!

  1. They're not amateurish at all (to me!). They're all gorgeous. I really love the close up with the bee too. And that second last perspective shot. Coolio!

  2. Well if that bee photo keeps being so popular maybe I'll sell prints of it in my etsy shop!

  3. I really love all of them, especially the first portrait (silhouette against the sunset) and the wavy trees (under the bee photo). I'd buy a print of that one, gorgeous!

  4. Wish granted everyone! I have added some of my prints to my etsy shop!

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a comment, it's a huge encouragement to me! I respond to comments directly, that is why you don't see any replies from me here.
